I'm posting this for the Message Board.Every time I stamp, I find myself swiping pieces of paper over several stamp pads looking for the perfect color. Yesterday I decided to just make myself a swatch ring of all the inks I have. Right now they are sorted by manufacturer--Adirondack, Nick Bantock, etc. There's one piece of cardstock at the beginning of each group with the characteristics of that ink--pigment, chalk, dye, fade-resistance, water-proof, etc.
Later, I may decide to group by color. After all, that's the way I look for them. Also, I now have samples of what the finish and color of the ink will be after it has dried.I really think this is going to be helpful and save me a lot of time in the long run so I thought I'd share.
