Dymphie made the beautiful background using acrylics and the Bubble Technique. Dymphie, thank you so much for the bubble backgrounds.

The image by PSX was stamped on acetate with Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed with detail clear EP. I colored on the back of the acetate with Sharpies.
I put touches of yellow Stickles on the starfish on the back. I used Suze Weinberg's Pure Glitz Mermaid (the same as Stickles only different colors) on the front on the bubbles.
I put the background through the Xyron so that the adhesive was on the front (Well, it was by my second try.) and attached the stamped and colored acetate onto it.
The gold starfish that came in the mail with a poem was treated with Adirondack Copper Mixative and buffed.
I put a clean backing on the back since it had been through the Xyron on both sides. I edged the whole thing with an Identi-pen.

Notes: First I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx and heat embossed with detail black EP. The image just seemed too dark on the acetate. Then I stamped with Staz-on. It looked OK–a bit washed out. I tried coloring that on the same side I had stamped. Bad move. The Staz-on smeared. Now I know why everyone colors on the back. Then I stamped with the Black Versafine again, and this time I heat embossed with clear detail EP. This was a winner. None of the detail of the image was lost. A bonus–it surprised me with the look of stained glass it gave. I began coloring on the front without a problem, but decided it really way easier to color on the back.

I loved using the transparency for use in a high temperature copy machine. I had no trouble with the acetate warping, and I use the Milwaukee which gets hot. I just kept it moving, and it worked great.
