SERENDIPITY SHEET: Cardstock is SU, Bazzill, or unknown; pattern paper is from Provo Craft Scrap Pad (Tuscan Rose) and DCWV, Fall Stack; and I used some of my Polished Stone rejects. Everything was pasted down with Perfect Paper Adhesive. I stamped all over with a large bg stamp from Rubber Tree Stamps with Versamagic Brick Red and clear embossed the image. I used Versamark and copper EP with five stamps from a very old rubber-mounted PSX set (Petroglyphs), similar to SU's Ancient Art set.
FYI: I discovered how wonderful Perfect Layers is. I've had the set of two rulers forever and never used it. It is great for cutting out the squares. No measuring. I hadn't realized that you just slide the cs underneath and it automatically stops at a built-in lip. I just chose the right side of the right ruler to give me perfect 1 1/4-inch squares. This is the beginning of a long and happy relationship. I used the Olfa Rotary blade to make the actual cuts. I remember when I bought the PL, scrappers said that was better than using the knife that came with the set.
FIRST CARD: CS is SU. I stamped the same Rubber Tree bg image with Versamark and embossed it with clear EP on the brown cs, corrugated the matting, and outlined the squares with a Tombow marker. (I was talking on the phone and forgot to distress the edges of the squares. They looked naked.)
SECOND CARD: CS is Bazzill and SU. I used the same bg stamp, stamped with VersaMagic Brick Red, and embossed with clear EP on the matting. The sentiment from Hambo Stamps. TFL. Daria
ETA: Now that I see this on the monitor, I'm wondering if I should have extended the border lines to the top point of all three squares. What do you think? TIA. Daria
