Two cards (4 1/4“ x 5 1/2”) and one ATC background
I used the Water Stamping Technique on the cards and the Splotched Water and Perfect Pearls on the ATC background. Bazzil cardstock for card base; SU Ultra-Smooth cs on all three for stamping/inking
#1. Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks; Stampa Rosa Image; starfish embellishment (from unsolicited mail) inked with Prismacolor Markers
#2. Tattered Rose, Milled Lavender, and Dusty Concord Distress Inks; Hero Arts background stamped twice to cover page; PSX focal image stamped with Dusty Concord; Robin's Nest Dew Drops. The color of the card matches the Dusty Concord IRL.
#3. Dusty Concord and Pine Needles, splotched with water from a brush and flicked with Green Patina Perfect Pearls. I used the brush to stipple it a bit afterward. I wish you could see how pretty this is. I haven't decided just what I'm going to do with this background yet.
Jennifer, thank you so much for the class. I had tried to stamp over Distress Inks with water–thought it might work the same way as bleach, but it didn't. I love your technique.
Jennifer's Water Stamping Technique: Ink the card stock with Distress Ink. Ink stamp with embossing ink and stamp off once slightly. Mist with water. Stamp image onto the Distress-inked card stock to lift the image. Heat set.
