If there were a challenge for the most goofs, I would win with this card–hands down.Card measures 5“ x 7.”Bazzil and SU csCork from a roll (M's art section.)Gingko image is from Parson's (no longer in business), second-generation stamping with Distress Ink Vintage PhotoMSE Sentiment stamped with Versafine Black Onyx.Cuttlebug die-cut leaves, cut from Peet's Coffee cup sleeves, brayered with various metallic acrylic paints (M's craft section)I copied the matting from a card in the Mar-Apr-May issue of Take Ten by Georgiann Carlson. I really liked the way it looked; I'll be using this again in the future.I was so careful with this card. I loved Georgiann's matting, and I wanted mine to turn out the same. I'm happy with it; I think everything is pretty straight. Did I say I was very careful?Well, I had envisioned just using the die-cut leaves and a sentiment. But once the leaves were mounted, I knew a sentiment wasn't going to be enough. I found the gingko image and decided to use it, but the die-cuts were in the way. I masked them and stamped with Palette Raw Umber. Looked good, but I had left the ink pad open and you know what happened. OK. I used Un-Du to take off the top layer and the leaves. The second time I stamped first–this time with Distress Vintage Photo and it looked great with the black and the cork, but when I added the die-cuts, it just looked too busy; the gingko leaves were so dark. I decided to take it apart again. The third time I used the Distress Vintage Photo again, but I stamped off first so it would be lighter, and I put the whole thing back together. Then I went to stamp the sentiment and realized I'd glued the layer upside down. Back to the Un-Du. Georgina's 10-minute card took me about 2 1/2 hours.I wish I'd stamped the gingko leaves higher up in the corner, maybe off the page.Lisa Renea, Ann, and Cathy, thank you for the challenges. Believe it or not, I had fun. Daria
