When I think about most of last fall, I think of how bittersweet the entire season was. At the end of July, my grandmother was admitted into the emergency room and then the hospital where she stayed until she passed away on October 31. We had her funeral in Chicago. I think about her strength and how she was truly the strongest woman I have ever known. Though I usually tend to scrapbook the good times, it felt therapeutic to put this memory down. She loved the dogs more than she wanted to admit and her funeral was a little rainy but all at once beautiful and she was buried next to my grandfather, her soul mate.By using fall colors, and wood elements, combined with pops of teal, this layout makes me smile. I also used some elements from Project Life on this scrapbook page. Photos are 3x3 Instagram prints on matte cardstock by Persnickety Prints.
