Design School: I Want to Remember

I am so excited about guesting for the 2Peas Design School event this week! I was given the theme of “Repetition” for the focus of my project. I interpreted repetition to mean, using an element several times on my scrapbook page. I love repeating design elements such as shapes, embellishments, or patterned papers on my pages. By simply repeating one element, it helps to bring the whole page together! On this page I chose to repeat two elements on this page. One element are the circles, but I added one more element to them by altering each one slightly. This simply adds more character to your embellishments, and is pleasing to the eye! The last element I chose to repeat are simply strips of patterned paper in a variety of colors. I did use a wider strip of the yellow polka dot paper at the top, and at the bottom of the page to pull the right hand side of the page together!Thanks so much for looking, and joining me here at 2Peas for DESIGN SCHOOL!
