As I said in my challenge post, I found this technique on Pinterest and the desire was so strong to make a card using part of a map.The paper was in my stash and looked like sunshine and shadows on surrounding water. I built the boat using my Sizzix sail boat die. Cut the sail with the top part of the die, cutting from a Wyoming map and cut the bottom boat part from some wood grain material. Then I used TH distress ink to darken the color.I even had the perfect stamp in my boat drawer. It is a clean and simple card and I really like it. I will be making more of this technique when I return from my trip. But this card is the one I am going to make more of for my friends card swap in November.
