This is a scarf that I am making for Christmas presents. X-Large Men's Cotton T shirts work best. The T shirts must not have any side seams in the body of the shirt. Women's T shirts work as well, if they do not have side seams in the body. The larger the t shirt, the longer the scarf will be and the more you can wrap it - the most I have gotten is three loops around the neck and that was with a man's XXXL
