this was my journaling layout I submitted for Hall of Fame assignment CJournaling reads: I remember how excited I was after I found out you were a girl. I immediately went to baby gap and bought everything we had in stock.When you were born, I had no idea just who you would become but I knew that I loved you just the same. Growing up I had such a wonderful relationship with my mom. I hoped to carry on a mother daughter bond with you.The hardest day of my life came two years ago, when my mom died. You were only 2 years old but wise beyond your years.You see Erin, you made me realize that the mother daughter closeness that I had already missed and craved so much, was now to be continued with you.I cannot believe how much like mom you are— your looks, mannerisms and sense of humor.I know that she cannot be replaced. She is gone to a new place and I will miss her terribly. you and I have an entire future of laughs, memories and stories to tell.I will commit to you to always be there for you and I look forward to watching you grow and change from daughter to one day becoming a mother yourself.I love you my daughter, my friend.mom
