These are my pages for the circle journal I'm participating in. This is Babs' (Love2Paint4You) journal and her theme is “My Dream Job”. The journaling reads: “My Dream Job -Professional PhotographerOne of my biggest regrets is that I did not finish my photography studies in college. As a matter of fact, once I had children, I switched from a beautiful Nikon 35mm (boy, do I miss that sweetie!), to a point and shoot. Life got in the way of my pursuit. It’s been almost 10 years since I last held a “real” camera in my hands (my ex-husband got “custody” of both of them). Actually, I had two cameras. One had color film in it; the other always had black and white.BUT, it has always been my dream. Now that I have started scrapbooking as a hobby, I am starting to concentrate more on my photography. I still have a point and shoot camera, but am taking more photos than ever and loving it.In my dream job as a professional photographer, I see myself doing mostly freelance work, doing landscapes and nature photography. I’d have my own studio complete with darkroom and all the camera equipment a gal could ever want. However, if National Geographic were to call…well, they would own me! I would be off on an African safari one day, photographing the Mayan ruins another, braving the freezing temperatures in Alaska as I snap away at the glaciers. What a thrill it would be to travel the world AND photograph it as well!!!” I did the magazine cover with MS Picture It!, and basically tore apart an actual National Geographic magazine for the collage look of photos around the magazine cover. Page two is cardstock covered with fabric…it's some kind of animal print. The tag has more cut-outs from the magazine and two charms…one is a camera, the other a passport. There's some raffia, and embroidery thread. I ran a gold inkpad and a copper inkpad over the tag to make it look aged. Oh…and black ribbon along the left side. Thanks Babs for a great theme…yours sure was a tough act to follow! TFL everyone!
