Trust - Faith - Hope - Love Scripture Challenge #9

Here's my entry for this week's scripture challenge. My scripture is Exodus 33:14 The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” The minute I got the scripture I thought about the Simon and Garfunkel song Bridge Over Troubled Water, and how it almost seemed to say the same thing as the scripture. Every time I hear that song, I feel calmed and comforted…same for the scripture, so I included the lyrics in the layout and highlighted the words that “go” with the scripture's meaning with a watercolor pencil and then ran a damp q-tip over the words to soften the look. My journaling reads “TRUST · FAITH · HOPE · LOVELike a bridge over troubled water…The Lord will never leave you.
