DW Week6 - Cone Age

Here's my take on Renee's 2/8 layout. I love the color blocking she did and it worked great with my photos. The technique was to stamp with Staz-On onto glass slides…I stamped onto epoxy page pebbles instead. One of them is the guardian angel stamp that is hidden somewhere on all of the layouts I do for RheAnna. Lots of other techniques here: stamped with Versamark to get tone-on-tone effect on large red block, the journaling was printed onto satin ribbon strips, heart brads used for detail on the grosgrain ribbon, stamped the date with bronze metallic ink onto black cardstock. This is the first time I've used a bottle cap. I've had them forever but never could work them into a layout. Journaling reads: There's nothing better than sharing some ice cream with you! You are finally old enough to have your own cone. You're so cute diving in face first. I'll make sure you learn the finer points of cone ettiquite…one lick at a time!
