Happy Birthday, Duana! This is a cigar box that I altered and turned into a mini scrapbook inside. The theme is reasons why it's great to be 50. I rummaged around to find some old pictures to add to more current ones so this gift could be a walk down memory lane for her. Tried to pick colors that were bright and cheery … turning 50 is depressing enough… and threw in as much humor as I could muster. I gave it to her yesterday and she LOVED it! Pages are about 6x7, which I love because it makes all the embellishments look big and chunky. Lots of work. lots of 2Peas inspiration, and lots of fun doing the layouts for the inside. I sanded, primed, and decoupaged the cigar box (thanks Patty for the box!) then added ball fringe, brass hardware, and collaged words for the cover. It was a real labor of love and I sorta' didn't want to give it away….but she said she'll treasure it always … so that's enough for me! TFL!! Colette
