Journaling:<br><br>For as long as I can remember, the Bible has played a most important role in my father's life. As a minister, the Word has been his constant companion. As a writer, the Bible is his constant source. As a Christian, God's Word has led him throughout his life. His faith was never something I questioned.<br><br>I grew up listening to my father's sermons most every week and I fear I didn't appreciate that adequately at the time. Now, however, it's clear the impact my father's dedication to his calling has made in my life.<br><br>There are certain passages of scripture that ring in my ears to this day, in my father's voice, with his inflections and pronunciations, no matter who is doing the actual reading. I pray that it never stops being that way.<br><br>–Sarah
