<p>I saw the interview of the writers of the tv show “Will & Grace” with James Lipton of Inside the Actors Studio. (I so wish I could find a transcript of that interview.) The main writer (his name escapes me) said that the concept of Will and Grace was as much about the concept of the characteristics of human will and extension of grace as they were about the people named Will and Grace. That a far-too-short summary of the discussion–if I locate a transcript I'll put a note here. The interview got me to thinking about making this LO. <br><br>I rarely do a white background, but this one suprised me. <br><br>Journaling:<br>Will & Grace…what a perfect description for Julian's personality. His life is a complex mixture of a passion to be right and first and headstrong and accomplish the goals set out for him under his own terms. Julian's sheer will is a constant factor in our house, in good ways as well as difficult ways. <br><br>Strong willed? Absolutely. Sometimes I am tempted to call him “Old Ironsides”. <br><br>Yes, he's only 8, but his personality is the strongest I've ever known. He comes by these traits honestly…that much I know. His parents are both pretty headstrong adults, afterall. <br><br>I love to see Julian filter his strength into a determination to succeed at a task. Julian never gives up. He pushes on when faced with adversity. Always.<br><br>Yes, I face the wall of his will often, but there are moments when I am blown away by the grace in his heart. Julian is outgoing and has always been on the lookout for new friends. He's always making conversations, laced with his unique perspectives. Julian's gracefulness comes out a lot when Grey is around. Julian is a gentle and compassionate big brother. He does things for Greyson with an ease that only brotherhood could inspire. <br><br>Julian is a complex young man, especially to me.
