I've decided to start posting my HOF layouts, this is the first one. I will readily admit I was inspired by a couple of movie posters: Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium & Harry Potter. The assignment was to ‘Journal Your Passion’. I decided to scrap my passion of collecting: I collect a vast array of interesting, quirky, and useless things- everything from toy robots to vintage school books, to rabbits. Some of those things I have already done layouts on, like my green pots, toy typewriters, circus toys and vintage linens. I decided to do the journaling (since that was the important thing) in the form of a book. It's too long to quote here, but it's the fictionalized story of my trying to sneak one more vintage book into the house, past my wary husband. All items were photographed or scanned by me, then touched by my magic wand (Photoshop). Stampede, PassionsConflict, and Walkway bold fonts.
