This was one of several layouts without assignment. I created it to honor my wonderful Grandmother, who passed away when I was 18. Bruce & I were fortunate enough to live in my grandparent's house for the first 8 years of our marriage, so I inherited her little kitchen. Too bad I didn't inherit her wonderful cooking skills! All of the items are things that had belonged to her, which I treasure to this day. I created the background by scanning an old vintage table cloth, and incorporating the cherry design into a faux-tea towel I made. I also made the little recipe card, and added a ‘grease spot’ with a brush I made. Sweetheart Script, Onyx, and Old Typewriter fonts.
