Thirty-One-derful Years

Every year since we've been married, I have made a Christmas ornament with the number of years together on it. From the very first one in 1978- stuffed felt with eyelet lace around the edges, to stenciling, to Fimo, to my first Illustrator attempt, to my current ones done in Photoshop, these are treasures I wanted to document. I photographed each one, then created a second layout journaling the background of what my creative inspiration was that year. You might notice that one year is missing- I never did make one for our 6th year. I have no idea why, but that missing year has made me vow never to miss another one.Bickley Script & American Typewriter.
