Working on my last couple of projects, I got out my big box of ephemera, and got inspired to scrap THAT! Ephemera is defined as collectible memorabilia, typically written or printed things, that had limited usefulness or popularity. That pretty much describes the hodgepodge of junk in my box: Lots of postcards, greeting cards, souvenir brochures, maps, tickets, receipts, matchbooks, little cookbooks, advertising brochures, and the like. I especially love stuff from the 20s to the 40s- my favorite period of American culture. The very first thing I bought was a tiny little photo folder from the 20s called “Bathing Girls”, it's visible in one of the little photos in the center. Trust me, I didn't buy it in the 20s, I don't think I'm that old! (I got it in the early 70s) As expected, all items in the layout are from my collection. PlugNickelBlack & Grasshopper fonts.
