This lovely lady was my second cousin- she was my grandfather's niece. She was just a few years younger than he was, I was always puzzled as to why someone his age would call him ‘Uncle Ern’. I just discovered these photos today, I was scanning some long-lost negatives taken at my Grandparent's Golden Wedding Anniversary party in 1962, and these were the treasures I found.The journaling reads: Faunt Eliza Young Gorman was my Grandfather Clark's niece. She was the daughter of Grandpa's much older half-sister Elizabeth Jane Clark. Fauntie made the most beautiful quilts. Although she passed away just a few weeks after our wedding, we were lucky enough to receive one baby quilt that she had made.
