Dead Man's Grotto - Pairate's Lair at Tom Sawyer's Island

This is one of the new features the imagineers built into the old caves on Tom Sawyer's Island. It is a fun, interactive cave. As you walk in, you see the skeletons and Davey Jones chest. If you put your hand on it, you can feel and hear his heart beating. Then on to the treasure room. If you stick your hand though the bars to touch the bar of gold, the hand with the eye ball pops out or the skeleton head and they warn you to keep your grubby hand off their gold. The other treasure disappears when you stick your hand through the bars. It is fun and eerie and I would have been utterly fascinated with it as a child!! PP - Creative imaginations, Tech, Tues. twill stamped with Inque Boutique Savvy stamps and black paint dabber. Title is QK Fiesta, EK Mickey punch and Creative imaginations skull brad. Journaling is from the little hand outs they passed out last June when it first opened and it says: “Tread carefully these dark and winding caves. Though none will argue there be treasure here in great abundance, ghostly apparitions do haunt these corridors of stone…and every jewel is guarded well by forces none may know.”
