This is a LO about Dh's family pumpkin carving tradition. His great uncles and grandfather used to carve these pumpkins during the depression and try to sell them for a little money. His grandpa carried on the tradition and each year he would carve a pumpkin for each grandchild and have them paint it. This year, Dh's father decided to carve some for his grandkids (our nieces) so he came over and we made copies of grandpa's pumpkins from old pictures and we made our own. I got to learn the “secret technique.” It was a lot of fun and he also enjoyed taking them and letting the girls paint them. PP is MME, Bo Bunny, ?, and CM. Lettering is QK Khaki. Pumpkins are QK. Buttons are SEI. Ribbon is from LSS. This is for the A.E. PP challenge #3, to use 7 pieces of paper for the background.
