Another NYOBC LO. My great grandmother, Nana, was a very crafty lady. She was always making this and that and since she lived through the depression, even though she lived in a little single-wide trailer, she had a storage shed full of craft stuff and was always making something. She passed her craftiness on to the rest of us and I know she would have loved the scrapbooks my mom, sister, and I make. Several months ago, my mom was cleaning some things out and ran across these four fabric yo yos that Nana had in a baggie (she never threw anything away!) In the baggie were the circle patterns with her writing on them that gave the instructions for how many to cut of each size to make a yo yo doll.I know it is a silly little thing and we don't even have any pictures or examples of the dolls, but I just couldn't get rid of them and decided to scrap them. There is hidden journaling about Nana behind her picture. I love her and miss her…it's hard to believe she's been gone 20 years now.
