When I got my engagement pics back this photo of Nic really freaked me out–it looks so much like this photo of my Poppa! Anyway, I've been wanting to get this layout done for awhile–glad it's done! The journaling reads “Grandmothers pass down a lot of things, but who knew they passed down their taste in men? When I got our engagement pictures back and saw this photo of Nic, I immediately thought of this picture of Poppa. Same pose, same cocky look, same hairline! Of course, the similarities don't end with their looks. There's the military service, the commitment to family, and the fact that they're both readers. Nana didn't just pass down her genes.
