This is a new base for my QK. My dh made it from poplar wood. I've always had a bit of a wiggle from using the other base, and we saw someone had made these and was selling them on the auction site. He made me one this evening and it is GREAT. I don't even have to press all the way down. The tool is completely stable! I love it! It makes using the tool so much easier.
