Well here it finally is. I was the worst procrastinator in our circle journal, and a week after we were supposed to mail our journal out, I not only changed my topic, but started with a brand new album! I've included copius details below…feel free to skip over! Thanks for looking, Rachel :)

This is a Canson album, and on the front I took corrugated cardboard and some 7G map paper and K&Co map vellum and some really cool green bamboo like textured paper. inked, sanded and rolled and covered with a shellac like finish. Used an MM Definition under the 2Peas bookplate and some twine to tie the bookplate to the front. THe closures are L'il Davis Keyholes that I sanded, painted and embossed and they hold the ribbon that ties the book closed. Also criscrossed an irridescent green/brown ribbon on the spine and used some beads on that ribbon for some extra detail.

On the inside cover is an envelope that I decorated and inside is some miscellaneous travel stuff for my pals to use when they work on their entries (if they want!).

First page I sewed a bunch of ribbons on to the page and stamped a compass stamp with acrylic paint and put some copper embosssing powder on it. Journalling is 2Peas hot chocolate and the title is Carpenter. I inked, painted and embossed the edges of the journalling and brushed some shellac over the title.

For the sign in page I walnut inked some tabbed index cards and sewed 5 together for each page. Each person has their own card behind their tab to alter. I also took MM metal square tags and painted and then stamped the compass stamp on and embossed. Used the green textured bamboo paper again here too and some miscellaneous piece of paper. MAMBI Scrappy Chic letter stickers.

On my sign in page the printer screwed up, but I actually like how it turned out. included some gingham ribbon, a sonnets page pebble and an MM mini ribbon charm.

For my entry I printed the journalling (2Peas Hot Chocolate and title in Carpenter) on vellum and sewed over the Sonnets map paper. I then framed it by sewing on an blue/green irridescent ribbon around the edges with mitered corners. Picture is my husband and I on a trip we took to Florida. I stamped the compass stamp again with acrylic paint and then sprinkled on some glitter.

Phew! I think I covered everything! Thanks for looking :)
