This one is simple. Focus on the journaling. Journaling reads: Journaling reads:I just look and look at this picture. This lady with the kind face. And the soft voice. And I think back to the mid 80's when my life was beyond complicated. I was a young girl with big issues back then. With more things to worry about than your average teenager. Home was not a happy place. Nor a safe place. I was lost in the storm. I needed shelter. And along came Lynn. Lynn was the mother of my High School boyfriend, Jeff. She singlehandedly saved my life. She got me through the roughest patch. She taught me to be strong. That love is unconditional. That when things seem really bad they can get worse. And often do. Yet the sun always shines again. I learned to hang on. To ride the storm out. To believe in myself. To trust. All of these things I learned from Lynn. You know her as Grandma Lynn. Her son and I broke up long, long ago. And I met your Daddy and we got married and had you both. And I sit here gazing at this picture of you with the woman who saw something in me that seemed worth saving back then. And she saved me. And I am here. And I want you to know how much she changed the course of my life. And how eternally grateful I am to her. And how happy it makes me to just sit and look at this picture.
