Storytellers - Using Selfies

Hi! This is Céline Navarro for Two Peas in A Bucket! Today, for Storytellers, I would like to talk more about SELFIES. Why should we take more selfies? Selfies are a great way for us, scrappers who take the photos, to be ON THE PICTURE. Most of us are always behind the camera, capturing our kids', husbands', families' lives…but who's taking of our lives? I know how difficult it is to be in front of the camera : we feel ugly, fat, unattractive, useless, we don't know how to pose or not to pose, we HATE being in front of the camera. But, seriously, in ten years, when your kids will look at your Project Life or your Scrapbook albums, when they will ask “Mommy, why are you NEVER on the photos?!” What will you tell them?Your family history is about every single person in the house : husband, kids, and YOU :)Selfies shouldn't be always posed and pretty : try to challenge yourself and take yourself not too seriously - that will help a lot!Grab a kid, a friend, your husband, and take a picture!YOU deserve to be more on the picture - you are part of your own history, right?So get get a selfie now! :)I created this layout using only selfies I took of my soon-to-be-husband, when we were in Brittany for our vacation last summer.Her's my video, hope you'll like it :
