Lindap said it perfectly. You do have a way with keeping someone focused on the pictures and doing a wonderful job show casing them.
I love the torn paper matted. Great job!!

I like this page also and would love to see some other photos of these Mountain men days, I bet they are a lot of fun, and make great scrapping subjects! Love Penny
what a great layout. as a newbie to scraping i really admire your use of color and the way you keep the pictures the focal point of the layout and not the embellishments. Hope to see many more layouts from you in the future.
Wow! What a unique sport. I love how you combined both torn matting and straight cut matting on the same page. They look great together. That's an idea I'll have to borrow. Very nice!! Scraprageous
Leslie!!! WOW!!! This is awesome! I love the jute photo corners combined with the torn/chalked mats on your main focus photos! Nice Job!!!

PS What a fun recreation lo! :d Bet it will be a one of a kind!
Our family attends Mountain Man Rendezvous - an encampment where we live in pre-1840 times. One of our favorite events during the week is the Kids' Tomahawk Throw competition. Our children, as well as our nieces are quite good at "sticking" their 'hawks! I want to explain that there is no title on the layout because these are the middle two pages of a 4-page layout. (Supplies: Pattern Paper by Karen Foster; Primitive Hearts Punch by Emagination; Chalks by Stampendous; brads, eyelets & jute are unknown.) Thanks for looking. Leslie
