This LO tells several stories… The first is that our Midwest family visited New England, specifically Cape Cod, for the first time over the July 4th week in 2005. Not knowing what the crowds would be like and having just had two instances of my youngest wandering off in crowds I dressed the kids in matching shirts every day of our vacation. To be festive for the 4th we had made tie dye t's for the kids. The kids & I had such fun making them that we made two more. Wandering around Woods Hole on the 4th we were quite the spectacle wearing our matching tie dye in ultra conservative Cape Cod! Everyone was very friendly but we got lots of strange questions. We heard “Oh, you must be from California?” or “So, you're from California?” or worse “OH how cute! Are you in the parade?”…. Nope, we are just from Ohio. People wear tie dye in Ohio. Maybe not matching tie dye but they do wear tie dye. The other story(sorry this is quite long winded!) is that the kids took all the photos here. Haven't been able to figure out just how to write the journaling so for now it's blank…
