Awww, daddy did the journaling on this and I might add that I think he did a wonderful job. So this is for Shannon's class. She showed us some cool ribbon effects. I didn't quite do the same thing but it still made me think outside my box. So anyway, lately, I've been noticing some sheer ribbon flowers on pages in magazines. I think American Crafts makes them. Anyway, once upon a time I had to get EVERY color of sheer ribbon that Stampin' Up sold. I still have so much of it so to get the same effect as those flowers, I ran a gathering stitch down the center of the sheer ribbon and gathered. Very close to the flowers and it didn't cost me anything! And also, with a thin ribbon I ran a partial frame around the phone. It's kinda like a random loopy loop thing.
