Ok, I posted the pics of room last night and now I'll show how I organized my stuff. BTW, this room used to be a toy room with a concrete floor. It was an absolute pit! The kids hated to clean it up and all their favorite toys were up in their rooms anyway. The whole project started when my neighbor gutted her kitchen and was going to throw away the cabinets which were in great shape. Imagine the horror! Luckily I intercepted at the right time. I painted the room a nice butter color and fauxed 2 of the walls with Ralph Lauren's tea stain. My husband layed down a wood laminate floor…perfect for my rolling chair. Got away from my organization post but I did want say how my room came to be.Here's what you're looking at:#1 Punch and cutter drawer. Got rid of a bunch of my punches on Ebay and it’s so nice to have all my basics fit in one drawer #2 This cabinets hold extra albums, refills, snaploads, and idea books I’m not willing to tear apart. Monthly mags I do tear out the stuff I want to save. #3 This overhead holds misc. stamps. I’m not much of a stamper so I don’t need to get in this one too often. #4 BUT I do love alpha stamps and I want those in a drawer within reach. #5 Memoribilia/ picture cabinet. Basically I store photos and momentos together in this cabinet along with my light box. Can’t bring myself to get rid of my alpha templates yet so those are here to. I’m going to take Stacey’s BPS class and I’m anxious to make my photo storage better. #6 Gotta have my stamp pads next to my alpha stamp sets. Plus I love inking edges. #7 My other passion is alpha rub ons. They deserve their own drawer! #8 Patterned paper cabinet. I love storing my paper vertically. I used to have racks but they took up so much room. Love this system! #9 I also like to keep some lines/manufacturers together so I use lots of the 12 x 12 envelopes. Everything is labeled so I can easily pull out what I want. #10 Whew! Didn’t realize I had so much adhesive until I put it all in a pile. Definitely required a drawer! #11 Foam stamp and paint drawer. Everything I need for painting is in this drawer #12 This is how I store my foam alpha sets. Each letter is Velcro’d to a sheet of cardstock so makes keeping them organized a snap #13 Misc drawer. Got DMC floss, label maker (obviously I use it A LOT), sanding blocks for distressing here. Basically it’s a catch all drawer. #14 Targets document boxes. I stores my acrylic stamp sets in them. #15 Another view of the document boxes. #16 My Xyron, Target ribbon holder (I keep cut lengths in this), and my scissor basket. #17 My other overhead cabinet. When you have a catch all drawer, you need a catch all cabinet. Keep my Zig up here plus eyelet tools and other stuff. There you have it, my entire room…the good, the bad, and the ugly!
