Heather Ann's CJ is entitled “Moments in Time” and she wanted us to record a moment in our life. Her CJ is an accordian-style book and so I made my entry an accordian with several pictures of Jaden! It worked out perfectly too because of the smaller size I was working on. I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKE IT HEATHER!!! See you this week in Chicago!!! :)

Used the new “Time” line by KI Memories. These pictures do not do it justice! It looks awesome IRL!Journaling reads:

August 10th , 2003 4:23 p.m.It is Sunday afternoon and I am talking on the phone with my sister-in-law, Jae. She and my brother-in-law, Chris, just had a baby boy yesterday. I’m asking her how she is feeling and she says she is doing well. I ask her how the whole “nursing routine” is going with Ammon, and she states that she is doing alright, but she can’t keep Ammon awake long enough to eat. At that instant in our conversation, I’m taken back 10 months earlier when Jaden was first born and I instantly remember how Jaden slept constantly. I remember how stressed out I was in making sure he ate all of the time so I wouldn’t lose my milk supply and he would grow up to be a healthy boy. I was so concerned about his well-being at all costs. The call ends by me reassuring Jae that everything will be fine and say goodnight. It’s so true what they say, “Hindsight is always 20/20.” I can now look back and laugh about how I stressed over the fact that he slept so much and how he didn’t have much interest in eating the first couple weeks. There are times now that I can’t get him to sleep, which is completely opposite of months earlier. Jaden is now almost a year old and the past 10 months have flown by so quickly. It was a very nostalgic moment for me to have that conversation with my sister-in-law. “Experiencing a baby” is something that you can’t learn from a book, you must master first hand.
