I have yet to stain the wood a rosewood color. All I've basically done was just stamp the dominoes and heat set them. I still have to cover them with Future Floorwax and then with Polyurethane, to seal them. The temperature outdoors and in the garage are still a little too cold. I'm going to try to stain the tray tomorrow, and see how it goes. The idea for this came from PaperCrafts and Stamp It!'s new book “Treasury of Tips & Tricks” (page 111). The tray, itself, was $4.99 at Michael's. I think it's an affordable project that really pushes you to try something different.
