I was just having some “fun” today, and came up with this “ok” tag. But, I still wanted to share it.I took some glossy paper, stamped a tapestry image on it using Brilliance ink. After it dried (yes, this pigment will dry on glossy) I rubbed Marvy “red” ink all over the image. I then immediately wipe off the red ink with a paper towel, leaving this semi-resist affect. I think it is pretty. I layered this with some handmade papers. One is pink with gold flecks in it; one is an overall embossed cotton paper that I inked some of the high spots on; and some vellum. I took an inexpensive garden tag and used my stylus to write “tapestry” on. Then covered the tag with stazon black. Let it dry for about 30 seconds, and rubbed off with paper towel, leaving black in the crevices of the word. Tied floss in the existing holes on in tag. Attached a vintage mini-tag that was inked with gold, copper and silver Brilliance. Then Moments was stamped. Stamped several images in black, and some overstamped in silver Brilliance. Just made a wild fiber thing with black, hot pink, orangy fiber, and rose colored wire. It was just a lot of fun to play with.
