I must confess, I wasn't too keen on using this ‘diamond shape’ paper and the gray tone. It was kinda' in the back of my paper stash. Well, I decided to go for it and work it up in a funky way with an Exacto knife cutting out the ‘diamond’ shapes randomly throughout the paper. Also, I played on the ‘diamond shape’ with matching wood veneers.Nowwww I must admit, I am IN LOVE with this layout! This really shows the versatility of the papers from Elle's Studio! I went for a gray tone with a touch of pink (for a soft pop of color) for a touch of color and classic fonts in stickers. The wood veneer shapes are inked with coordinating chalk fluid inks.Check out the Elle's Studio product linked up here: http://www.shopellesstudio.com/gallery/1110/priceless/ [shopellesstudio.com]Other Product - Cardstock: American Crafts Ink: Clearsnap Colorbox - Fluid Chalk - Rose Coral, Gray Whale, Ranger - Archival Ink - Jet Black Letter Stickers: 7 Gypsies Wood Veneer Shapes: Studio Calico (diamond shapes, stars) Stamps: Studio Calico, Technique Tuesday Mist: Studio Calico - Calico White Canvas Alpha Shapes: Prima - Hello Pastel Metallic Sequins: Treehouse Studio - Silver Exacto Knife (used to cut out ‘diamond shapes’) Tiny Attacher Stapler: Advantus - Tim Holtz Silhouette Cameo (used for title work “and the living is easy”)
