Journaling:Grandpa Dave and Grandma Pauline picked Christopher upfrom Amy’s house and told him they were taking himto see the new baby. Christopher replied, “The babyhasn’t come out yet.� By the time he arrived inthe hospital room, the first thing he said was,“Where’s the baby?�C wanted to hold you right away and was very gentleand sweet. He asked a few more times during theafternoon/evening. When Mommy held you, C patted you. At first, he wouldn’t say your name, just calledyou “my baby.� Your first bath and footprints were done in our roomsoon after Christopher arrived. C noticed during yourbath that you were a boy, and thought it tremendouslyfunny when you peed during the bath.Once when you were asleep, C said you were dreamingabout playing with cars. C got ice cream AND afudgesicle while he was at the hospital, and we jokedthat was why he liked you so much—he normally doesnot get that many desserts!
