Had fun with this one…it's my mom, pregnant with me! Her dress is so funny, and the Gin-X paper is just perfect. I cut the title from DeVinne Orn font (loving it) and Brody fonts with my Craft Robo (definitely LOVING it!). Journaling: Mom’s first symptom of pregnancy was fatigue. She’d go home for lunch each day from work as bookkeeper at Walton Products and take a nap. When she mentioned this to a coworker, the woman diagnosed her correctly as pregnant. The next symptom was “night sickness,” and it was severe enough to take medicine the rest of the pregnancy. Curiously, Mom never liked cooked carrots prior to being pregnant, but has liked them ever since. My original due date was May 28. At her doctor’s appointment prior to that, Dr. Juhl said he thought it would be longer though, so imagine Mom’s surprise when her water broke on the 28th. Despite that, she “tromped” around the cemeteries placing flowers on ancestor’s graves with Aunt Edrie and Uncle Lyle. By 4am on the 29th, she and Dad were en route to the hospital!Photos were taken at Grandpa Charlie’s birthday party on March 11, 1973. Top: Bruce, Mom, Grandpa. Right back: Grandpa, Lyle, Bruce. front: Dad, Edrie, Pat (pregnant with Paul). TFL, Cheri
