This LO was inspired by a piece of toile tissue paper. I tore the tissue and placed the image of the tree behind the vellum.
The poem reads:
Come play with us!
the flowers called.
Come climb into the tree.
Perhaps the birds will sing their songs,
and we can have some tea.
So up I climbed to join the purple buds who lived upon the limbs.
I played for hours
in this special place,
with the flowers
my wonderful friends.
I wrote the poem especially for this picture.
