This is the death Certificate for my great grandmother. I am using this for the try something new challenge because I never scrap about unhappy things. The signifigance of this death certificate is the fact that the coroner listed cause of death as homicide due to suffocation. In fact that is how she died, at the age of 26, when her husband killed her in front of her 5 year old (my grandmother) and 3 year old daughters. Because his family was so rich and powerful in that town, there was absolutley no police investigation. I am so happy to have found this all these later though because when my grandmother was dying she searched for answers for her childhood. My mom and my grandfather and I are so happy we found this document that shows that at least someone official claimed it was murder.
