This was a layout I did YEARS ago during 9/1/02.

Here is the journaling I did to accompany it.

My journaling in case anyone wants to read what I journaled:
The September 11th attack will be an event I will never forget…
I can remember distinctly where I was when I heard about the first airplane hitting the World Trade Center. I was sitting at my pc in the development area at work when Kim, our client, came over and asked if I heard about the crash into the World Trade Center. I said no, I hadn’t heard anything yet. She said to check my pager. I checked the news on my pager and I was in aw. Until then I really had no clue what the World Trade Center was! Once I realized what really happened, I went to my pc in my work area and tried to log onto any news site. It was amazing. I have never seen the Internet get jammed up and at that moment, you couldn’t move anywhere on the Internet. It seemed like anyone with Internet access had logged on at the same time to see the news and it couldn’t handle the bandwidth from around the world! There was no information to get on what happened. I had a little portable radio at work where I was able to connect it and listen to the other details. We heard about planes slamming into the second World Trade Center, and into the Pentagon. Then we heard about the buildings collapsing – these were supposed to be the strongest buildings in the world! Another plane with heroic people on it were able to crash the plane before it hit the White House. It was the scariest moment of my life! We had a television setup in our work area where we were able to see the events unfold over the hours that day. In the days to come, the Americans were more patriotic than I had ever seen. It was impossible to buy a US flag because everyone displayed them wherever they could. The sad part about this was no one knew who had caused this catastrophe. The Americans didn’t find out until about two months later. The US business took a big hit and the stock market dropped dramatically. Weeks and months later businesses all over the USA were laying off people and closing their doors because it hurt the business so much. Anthrax started to circulate in the mail and even killed a few people. This scare went on for a few months until the thrill finally wore off and there were no more reported incidents. A war was finally waged on al-Qaida and the terrorists that caused this terrible event in history that killed many innocent lives.
