so moving! My heart still aches when I think of those days. As a Canadian working only a few blocks from the airport in Toronto, it affected us all - the number of planes suddenly overhead waiting to land and then the quiet silence in the coming days.
Jean was the beloved niece of my college roommate and friend, Sally Roger. She died tragically on September 11, 2001 when American Airline Flight 11, on which she was serving as a flight attendant, was crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. She was 24 years young.. full of life and excitement for living with her whole future ahead of her. Not only was her life lost that day but also lost were the lives of 3041 people... citizens of over 80 nations... in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania when 4 planes were used as weapons of mass destruction. Thousands more were injured.
Heaven had to make room for many more angels that day.
