I started my project this month by filling a Silhouette mat with several of the cut files from the Two Peas shop. Sometimes when I'm not sure where to start a page, I find it helpful to just do something to get the creative process started, and sure enough, as soon as I cut the “let your heart be light” title out of the gold glitter paper, an image of a layout with a grid of photos showing snapshots of last year's Christmas decor popped into my head!I wanted to use a 6x6 grid of photos, but I normally only print on 4x6 paper, so the photo block was actually printed in two parts- a block of 6 photos and then a strip of 3- and pieced together before I started my page. I used a variety of printable items from the shop along with lots of embellishments from both Crate Paper's Bundled Up and October Afternoon's Silent Night, and I had a lot of fun layering everything up. I ended up using many, many more embellishments that I did patterned paper pieces, and I love the eclectic look it gives to the page.
