In this week's installment of Project Life at Two Peas, I hope to help out those of you who are feeling behind or want to be caught up in your albums. In today's video, I'll assemble two quick and easy pages- one of which is so easy that you'll probably wonder why I even bothered to film it. :) Along the way I'll share tips for making the process faster while still allowing for creative freedom and fun.I'll also share my own personal philosophy on being “caught up” with Project Life, which is that it's not something that I worry about at all. Some weeks I make five Project Life layouts because I'm feeling like working on it. Sometimes I go a month without making one. I skip around weeks and may scrap June one day and January the next- in fact, both of today's layouts are from my 2011 album! With all that skipping around and being laid-back about when layouts get done, you might think that my Project Life is in a bit of disarray. In reality, there's only one week in my 2012 album that isn't complete, and my 2013 album is finished up through April! Not stressing about Project Life makes is seem like less of a chore and removes that psychological barrier of “I have to do this,” meaning that I feel more free when working on my album and actually want to work on it!This week I encourage you to let go of the need to be caught up and approach Project Life just like any of your other scrapbook pages. Have fun, don't stress, and just play! P.S. Even Becky Higgins isn't caught up! I once heard her say on a podcast that she sits down every few months and works on Project Life in big chunks instead of doing it every week. Find the rhythm that works for you and go with it!
