Hello my friends! I've finally had a chance to create a new layout after being out of the loop for over a month and a half! It is SO GOOD to be able to scrap again! I have to tell you that the picture I scrapped is about the best and my favorite of all the pictures taken at my wedding over 32 years ago. It is my mother pinning a corsage on my grandma that I had made for her. By the time I had married my grandma's mind had deteriorated so, that she was like a child. In this picture I see somewhat of a role reversal…looking at my mom with trusting eyes. Both my mom and grandma are gone now and this picture is so precious to me.
It took me about 3 days, off and on, to decide on the papers I wanted to use and to gather all the embellies I wanted to add to it! I first distressed and inked the edge of the background paper. In my stash I had the mauve colored paper already punched and I used my homemade texture paste (tutorial from Gabi Pollacco) with a stencil I borrowed from my bestest friend! I love how that turned out! The square mosaics I made a while back from a tutorial, also from Gabrielle, using eggshells, alcohol inks, Perfect Pearls and Glossy Accents. Thank you so much Gabi for sharing your wonderful tutorials!
At the bottom are two cloisonné buttons from my mom's button tin which add special meaning to me. The lovely bouquet image is from my Printed Shop program.
I used goodies that were sent to me from my friends Melissa (Scraphouse) that include the feathers, pearl strand and chippie dress form (originally from Gina's Designs). I used my pearl dabber on it and then added the pink and burgundy lace sent to me from Brandy (Jellybean). Also from Brandy I used the little cream colored ribbon roses, tiny pink pearls, and the white buttons you see in the cluster at the bottom. The beautiful butterflies are from Renea's Etsy shop Reneabouquets. Thank you ladies for adding specialness to my layout!
Thank you all so much for your kind words and continued support.
Supplies used but not listed on this site are:
From Hobby Lobby:
Gemstones from The Paper Studio, Spare Parts (metal corners, keys, lock, roses), the large pearl button and the fan charm
Clock is from Recollections
Background paper is DCWV The Primrose Stack
The resin embellishment in the upper left is Melissa Frances

I have entered this in the July 5 ingredients + YOURS Challenge. For the "old" layout I used "To Have and To Hold" that I posted back in December 2012. The 5 ingredients from it that I used on this layout are Punching, Metal Elements, Distressing, Butterflies and Pearls.
Thank you so much ladies for your kind words of support. I truly appreciate them all.
