Over the past couple days I have been putting pictures from the last 8 months of my DDs life into photo albums and most are accompanied by a little story or note to my daughter. After doing this and having my DD turned 14-months old yesterday, I realized how many of the “little things” I had already forgotten from her short life. Things I thought I would never forget. Like how she slept with her arms up above her head, stuck her tongue out a lot like she was yelling “wassup!!!!”, and so much more.Putting the pictures together brought back so many memories, that I decided I didn't want to forget any more. I wanted to be able to tell my DD all about her life when we are older, and she perhaps has kids of her own.It is my goal now to journal for my daughter about her life. I want to do it every day (but know that probably isn't possible) and would like to keep it up as long as she will let me know what is happening in her life. Which I am told may not be too much into her teen years. :)I am calling this my “gift to my daughter”. It may not be fancy, or make it into any publications, but it will be priceless down the road for both of us.I got this cute little “P” (for Presleigh) journal in the Michael's $ section and have been printing out a picture that represents what I write about for the day.
