this is only the second try at creating an altered canvas. I covered the gesso treated stretched canvas with patterned paper & card stock. then I made an oil painted version of my daughters photo and printed it on cardstock.I made a frame of flowers to frame this photo, then I matted and mounted other photos of her. 1 of her with myself and my Mum.
