One of the ladies at the retirement turned 100 on July 5th and they had a little party for her. I wanted the card to be special so I found out that her and husband use to have strawberry patches so I decided to use that inspiration for the card. I used an image from Preserving Sweetness Color Set at Diane's Daydream Designs.
CHALLENGES: 1) July Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com - Sketch Category - The original sketch came from Scrappy Sketches. Instead of the flags at the bottom I did rows of scallops. 2) A gem of a Challenge #124 - Spots and Stripes (I'm hoping the plaid counts as stripes) 3) Crafty Creations Challenge #267 - Let's Party 4) Digi Sketch Challenge - In the Garden - strawberries are for sure in the garden!! 5) Seize the Birthday Challenge - Do a birthday card and if you want challenge yourself with doing the "topping". I did not use the "topping" just did a birthday card.
