On a beautiful summer day last year, my sil Barb took me out on Spruce Pond near Tully NY for my first kayaking lesson. By the way it felt I know it has to be good for upper arms, I should do lots more of it!! I used a pattern paper for the bg, inked and distressed it. It was perfect for this layout, water and lily pads. I also used a varied colored flower soft to add to the look. I made the journaling tags and flowers. I used pearls for accent here and there and stickles for a little sparkle. I distressed the edges with water and after they dried used a purple ink. I fashioned the bottom flowery deco and also the frills around my "teacher" with doilies that I cut and inked.
